OCT. 2: CELEBRATE PEACE AND GANDHI’S BIRTHDAY!

COME TO AN ZOOM MINI-CONFERENCE ON THE

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF NONVIOLENCE


OUR THEMES WILL BE:

Hearing the call to peace and nonviolence, as the universal hope of humanity. It’s out there, and it’s in your heart - the call to peace, truth, and justice at the core of Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Democratic Socialism, interfaith practices, and the heart of the Judeo/Christian tradition.

WE WILL DISCUSS AND EXPLORE:

The legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and other important historical truth tellers and peace makers.

INCLUDING:

Taking a step towards "Truth and Reconciliation" using interfaith awareness, and a politics beyond hate, racism, nationalism, and violence. How does capitalism, corporatism, and imperialism rely on violence, police brutality and power? What are the alternatives?

An Examination at the Murder of Qassem Soleimani, and the "Christian" Justifications of Mike Pompeo.
