Campaign Nonviolence/Social Justice Center of Marin's Collaborative Actions for CNV's Week of Nonviolence
September 9, 3pm: Solutions for Peace Talk at the Mill Valley Seniors for Peace. Ricardo Moncrief will discuss his pursuit of equity and social justice in Marin City, a community in Marin County that has been underserved and has struggled against extreme inequity and inequality. We will learn how he has created change, using peaceful strategy.
September 13, 4-5pm: Campaign Nonviolence will be joining Seniors for Peace in their Anti War Demonstration in Mill Valley. The action is from 4-5pm at the corner of Camino Alto and Miller Avenue in Mill Valley, California.
September 18, 11am - 2pm: Campaign Nonviolence will be setting up a Nonviolence table at the College of Marin between 11am-2pm, together with The Center for Domestic Peace. Both tables will have literature and invite discussions about what it means to choose peace/nonviolence in both the home and other areas in our lives. There will also be literature and discussion regarding all the areas where we, as individuals, can promote peace in the world. Our tables will be in front of the cafeteria on the College Marin Campus.*
September 20, 4-5pm: Campaign Nonviolence will be joining with the Seniors for Peace in their Global Climate Strike.
