Peace Activist Bare Armed Militia Turn Out in VT
The "Peace Activist Bare Armed Militia" (PA BAM) came out of the closet today and joined the youth in Manchester Center, VT for their Climate Strike and march. In the spirit of the second amendment we are "a well regulated militia" ( even tho we can't march very well). Our shirt uniforms bare our arms so we carry WNDs (weapons of no destruction). We aim to create dilemma and satire in our nonviolent actions. This year we have partnered with other groups organizing events this week. Tomorrow we join with the Greater Bennington Peace and Justice Center to commemorate International Day of Peace. The Peace militia will be flying our giant dove. We look forward to growing the militia with our paper hat and tyedyed t shirt uniforms. Then we will show up at actions all around the state.
