On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, the DePaul Humanities Center (DHC) and DePaul’s Peace, Justice and Conflict Studies Program (PAX) will host “More Power Than We Think: Unleashing Creative Nonviolence” from 6:00–7:30 PM in room 314 of DePaul’s Lincoln Park Student Center, located at 2250 N. Sheffield Avenue in Chicago.

This thought-provoking evening features:

  • Kathy Kelly, a three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee and renowned advocate for nonviolence.

  • Trey Baker, a DePaul PAX senior and Youth Outreach Coordinator for the Lake County Gun Violence Prevention Initiative, who is making a tangible impact in the realm of justice and peacebuilding.

The event offers a unique opportunity to explore themes of nonviolence, social justice, and activism through a creative lens.
