Help Save An Innocent Man's Life
In two weeks, the State of Texas is planning to execute an innocent man, Rodney Reed, unless there is miraculous breakthrough in his case. I am writing to you to ask your help to save Rodney's life.
Rodney has been on death row in Texas for over 22 years for a crime he did not commit. There is compelling new evidence in this case, which, if it were allowed to be presented in a new trial, would exonerate him.
I have met members of the Reed family, including Rodney's brother, Roderick, and his wife, Uwana, and they are working tirelessly to save Rodney's life. They are joined by countless others who are now advocating for Rodney. Please see the below links to learn more about the case and what you can do to help save Rodney's life. Two very important things you can do is to write the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole and to Governor Abbott. The Catholic Mobilizing Network has prepared a letter that you can send to the Board of Pardons and Parole. There is also also a Clemency Petition that you can sign to Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the Board of Pardons and Parole (see below justice4rodney reed.
