The Metta Center for Nonviolence and Ela Gandhi invite you to celebrate the launch of our new book Courage, on August 21 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM (Pacific)! The key to unlocking (or unleashing) our person power is developing a courageous inner harmony that, even through fear, will help us remain steadfast in our goal to implement nonviolent alternatives that will rewrite the old stories that are harmful to our planet and humanity.
During this contentious election year, not only for the United States but for over 60 countries, we must challenge ourselves to go against the grain by humanizing our neighbors near and far, especially those whom we disagree with politically. With courage, determination, and love, we can create long-lasting community and connection.
Following the book launch on August 21, stay awhile for a 10 am (Pacific) screening of “Third Harmony: Nonviolence and the New Story of Human Nature,” a documentary film that explores in beautiful depth, the greatest overlooked resource in the human experience. Check out the 2-minute trailer here!
To register for the book launch, pre-order Courage, and watch the “Third Harmony” privately, click this link. We are also setting up screenings of the film with facilitated conversations about courage and nonviolence after each screening for organizations and businesses around the world. If you would like to know more about screening the film for your organization, please be in touch with us!
We en(courage) you to take a chance on courage and nonviolence! To learn more, explore the Metta Center for Nonviolence’s website.
