A Nonviolent Community is possible. Here’s how we bring them to life.
This 6-week, online course will explore how you can start building a nonviolent community in your neighborhood, city, or region. We will look at nonviolent solutions to social challenges. We will share real stories of how people have replaced systems of violence with bold, nonviolent alternatives. Participants will gain hands-on tools for helping friends and neighbors understand the possibilities that exist. You will learn trainings you can use with faith groups, schools, youth, local organizations, and work sectors. This course aims to empower you to start planting the seeds of change and growing nonviolence in your community. Everyone is welcome in this online course. Nonviolent Cities organizers, steering committees, and participants are strongly encouraged to attend.
