ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Through exercises and examples, this virtual workshop will give you an overview of different aspects of how nonviolent practices specifically speak to the times we are living in. Participants will explore the principles, strategy, and spirit of nonviolence. We will look at how to maintain focus and centeredness in chaotic times. We will look at how to move our hearts into action along with our feet. This workshop will cover ways participants can prepare and respond to the many challenges surrounding the upcoming US elections, including de-escalation skills and active bystander basics. This relevant presentation is a reminder of why nonviolence is essential for navigating the election crisis and beyond. These are skills you need for the times we're in!
