International Peace Day is almost upon us and in Morro Bay we celebrate! This year we will be gathering around the Peace Pole at the Estero Bay United Methodist Church at 12 Noon on September 22nd. Since Morro Bay is the only city on the Central Coast of California to have a Peace Proclamation in place we thought it would be good to do a reading of it. We will also be reading from Jane Goodall's book "A Prayer for World Peace." If you are local or if you are in town we would love to have you join us. Either way, we wish everyone peace in their hearts, peace in their communities, and peace on earth.
