Kick off to introducing NonViolent Joliet....Meeting in downtown Joliet ....(Oct. 6, 4:30) first at the Post Office (dropping off postcards encouraging people to VOTE and supporting the post office and mail-in voting) then walking to City Council meeting with a vision...of a proclamation and of a commitment to working for a NV Joliet ...working with many partner groups (Pax Christi, BLM, Concerned Citizens of Joliet, Peace Alliance, Joliet Diocese Peace & Justice, faith leaders, school leaders, police, fire, ....to form a local steering committee....to study the issues and work with all stakeholders to create a more just and peaceful Joliet.
