The East Bay Regional Parks in Northern CA have partnered with Eden Interfaith Council to put together an International Day of Peace celebration on Sept. 21, 2019. Pax Christi, Castro Valley is co-sponsoring and helping to plan the event. The day will start at 9:00 am with a multicultural Wellness Walk at Lake Chabot Park in Castro Valley, CA.. From 11:30 - 1:00 the Day of Peace Celebration will be held in the park in the Cove Picnic site. There will be representatives of various faith traditions (including a representative from Pax Christi, Castro Valley) speaking, singing, and leading prayers for peace. There will be snacks and activities for the children.
