Seven Mass Shootings in Seven Days

Pace e Bene Board Member Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr who founded Hip Hop Caucus has shared this important information on the recent mass shootings.

In the past week, there have been seven mass shootings in this country. Seven.

A white shooter murdered ten in a Colorado. Eight mostly AAPI women were murdered in cold blood in Atlanta.

We must show up for those in the AAPI community, and love and protect them as crimes against them have skyrocketed since 2020, with 3,800 acts of racial violence reported since the beginning of quarantine alone.

White domestic terrorism endangers everyone, especially as racially motivated massacres grow more and more frequent. We must all stay vigilant, which is why we ask your support to protect all communities of color against this epidemic of violence and terror.

As we come together to say #StopAsianHate, though, we must go further. We all need to do better. As we stand in solidarity with our AAPI siblings, we must take this opportunity to educate ourselves and our communities.
