Starting in Holy Week on April 6, Father John Dear will be available for a one hour phone conversation for spiritual direction with Pace e Bene friends and supporters, as way to help during this difficult time and to support Pace e Bene.
If you are interested, click the button below to make a request and we'll contact you to schedule a phone appointment with Fr. John where he will call you starting anytime beginning Monday, April 6 and the days following. Pace e Bene will ask for a free will offering for this gift. Suggested donation $50-$100, though any amount is acceptable.
Fr. John Dear will be available to listen and advise you on your journey of peace and nonviolence to the God of peace and nonviolence. He will be happy to listen to your story and your confidential concerns of nonviolence, and to discuss with you questions such as: “Where is the God of Peace in your life right now? How is the nonviolent Jesus calling you these days forward? Where does nonviolence challenge you most at the moment, and how can you deepen your journey of Gospel nonviolence? And how can you follow the nonviolent Jesus and serve the God of peace and God’s reign of peace more than ever before now and following these existential pandemic days?”
If you want to have a conversation with Fr. John, he suggests that you journal and prepare reflections on these questions before, spend some time in prayer before hand and reflect on how you will follow up your conversation. Your conversation with Fr. John will be completely confidential and private between you and him.
Ryan Hall of Pace e Bene will handle all inquiries, set the appointments, make the arrangements as well as help you with the contribution once your appointment is confirmed. Again, we are asking for a free will offering to support Pace e Bene for this opportunity, such as $50-$100 or a small monthly donation, but any contribution will be accepted and Fr. John Dear will be happy to speak with each of you. This limited offer for personal spiritual direction and personal coaching on Gospel nonviolence with Fr. John Dear is available only now, during the upcoming weeks of Holy Week and Easter Season, as we experience national lockdown together during the coronavirus pandemic. It is offered as a help toward deepening in nonviolence and prayer, and greater public work for justice and peace in the future.
