In the latest batch of reports, we’ve got pictures from nonviolent city Springfield, MA, more pics from the End Gun Violence Rally in Washington, DC, and a couple of snapshots from an action in Napa, CA. Make sure we have details from your local actions too.
Anna Smith of Moneta, VA shares, “After morning worship service, the congregation was invited outside for a dedication service for the Peace Pole we had planted earlier in the week. We spoke about what Peace Poles stand for and encouraged all to live and share peace. We recited the Prayer of St. Francis and sang a hymn of peace. Our Peace Pole has fours sides, English, Spanish, Hungarian (for our sister church in Hungary) and American Sign Language.”
