Join Pace e Bene trainer Rivera Sun for a 2-hour webinar that introduces strategy and planning for nonviolent action. This webinar is fun, friendly, and open to people of all experience levels. It is adapted, in part, from Part 3 of the Engaging Nonviolence manual. You'll learn the guiding principles of how to make change with nonviolent action, how to think strategically, and how to design powerful campaigns for change. From local campaigns to national issues, you can apply these ideas and tools to every issue you care about. This webinar will also offer your Campaign Nonviolence and Nonviolent Cities group useful tools for planning powerful actions in support of building a culture of peace and active nonviolence.

This short webinar will cover:

  • 300+ Methods of Nonviolent Action (Session 12, Engaging Nonviolence)

  • Pillars of Support (Session 13, Engaging Nonviolence)

  • Spectrum of Allies (Session 13, Engaging Nonviolence)

  • Build the Solution, Stop the Problem (Variation on the Two Hands of Nonviolence)

  • Building Mass Participation

  • Basic Design Elements For Nonviolent Campaigns

Requirements:  The course will be held on Zoom. Participants must have internet access, and microphone and video on their computer.

Participants are strongly encouraged to invite friends and community members. Shared knowledge increases the power of active nonviolence in our communities! Participants are also encouraged, but not required to purchase the Engaging Nonviolence Manual. It can be bought on directly from Pace e Bene or on Amazon.

Scholarships are available for anyone who cannot afford to attend. Email Erin at info@paceebene.org to request a scholarship.
