American Muslim Voice hosted the 9/11 Peace Picnic and Multifaith Prayers with 250 people in attendance. AMV provided food for attendees gathered at King Plaza in front of Palo Alto City Hall. The picnic was followed by a multifaith service of prayers, songs and original poems by local children. The special guest speaker at this event was Gloria Williams, sister-in-law of a NYC firefighter killed on 9/11. The service concluded with a candlelight vigil for peace and friendship.
