The Depths of Nonviolent Action

November 14-16, 2008
(9 a.m.-5 p.m.)
Agape House
809 W Roosevelt Road
Chicago

Creative nonviolence is love in action and the love that does justice.  How do we deepen and embody this power of love in the midst of the struggle for social change?  This intensive workshop will:

• Offer an opportunity to discover powerful ways to ground our steps for change in the vision, principles, and practices of determined and unifying love;

• Explore how nonviolent action is both resistance to injustice and an opening for constructing a new world; and

• Provide tools to create nonviolent action as a form of powerful conflict transformation for healing and change.

Facilitators: Veronica Pelicaric, Ken Preston, and Ken Butigan

Prerequisite: Previous Pace e Bene training, course, or Training for Trainers Program.

Workshop fee: $200.00.  Scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis.
