Track One: Foundations of Creative Nonviolence
Track One explores the basics of nonviolence as a way of life and a way to transform society. It gives participants an introduction to the Engage curriculum. It is for anyone who has never had nonviolence training or has never been to a Pace e Bene workshop.
Track Two: Applications of Creative Nonviolence
Track Two includes 4 in-depth workshops that focus on key dimensions of creative nonviolence and their application to concrete situations. These workshops are for anyone interested in deepening their nonviolence journey. There are no prerequisites to attend these trainings, though they build on basic concepts and tools learned in Track One trainings. The trainings are meant to compliment each other. There is no specific order that they need to be taken in, and one can attend one or all of them.
Track Three: Facilitating Engage Programs
Track Three is designed for participants to learn and practice facilitating the Engage process and to deepen their understanding of nonviolence. The trainings are based on the philosophy, We learn best by doing. In that spirit, the participants themselves facilitate sessions and get constructive feedback from the other participants and Engage trainers on their facilitation. In the Training Program, participants enter into an intensive and extensive study of nonviolence and facilitation.
Engage Study and Action Groups
The twelve-part Engage: Exploring Nonviolent Living small group study and action program offers participants a wide variety of principles, stories, exercises, and readings for learning, practicing, and experimenting with the power of creative nonviolence.
