Kevin Ressler, a 2007 graduate of Eastern Mennonite University, majored in "Justice, Peace, and Conflict Studies" carrying minors in "History" and "Bible and Religion" with a concentration in Theater.

Following his undergraduate work, Kevin wanted to volunteer for a short time to refocus his life towards simplicity. Kevin's committment with Mennonite Voluntary Service, a program of Mennonite Mission Network which operates under Mennonite Church USA, brings him to Pace e Bene for his service term. Kevin replaces Pace e Bene’s previous MVSer, Lindsay Martin, as the Oakland office’s Office Manager and Website Coordinator and is looking forward to the challenge of filling her capable shoes. He is also enthused about taking part in this year’s Training for Trainers program.

Kevin  is a Mennonite whose beliefs in pacifism create a pride in such venemous attacks as being called an idealist, a dreamer, a progressive, and a believer in human optomism in the face of oppression. While Kevin does not expect to change the world in his lifetime, he hopes his life can be a contribution in carrying at least his share of humanity's weight in it's struggle against itself and it's imperfect foibles.
