Track Three is designed for participants to learn and practice facilitating the Engage process and to deepen their understanding of nonviolence. The trainings are based on the philosophy, We learn best by doing. In that spirit, the participants themselves facilitate sessions and get constructive feedback from the other participants and Engage trainers on their facilitation. In the Training Program, participants enter into an intensive and extensive study of nonviolence and facilitation.
Engage Facilitators Training
This training prepares participants to lead the 12-part Engage study program. Participants prepare and facilitate sessions in pairs and receive feedback from the other participants and the Pace e Bene trainers. The training also includes guidelines for facilitating Engage and a Facilitators manual. After completing the training, participants feel more proficient at leading the Engage process in their respective communities. Prerequisite: Engage Intensive or Engage study program.
The Engage Trainer Development Program
The training program is a ten-month program that trains and certifies Engage trainers. This certification enables them to then contract with Pace e Bene to lead all the trainings mentioned above. The Program includes three, 3-day trainings: introductory, facilitator, and an advanced training. It also includes mentoring, reading, implementing a nonviolence project, and training opportunities with experienced trainers. Program graduates are contracted to facilitate Engage trainings.
There are no upcoming Track Three Workshops.
