More About Engaging Our Conflicts:

This eight-session module explores the power and potential of nonviolent peacemaking in our lives and in the world.

Participants will learn about nonviolence and how to apply it in real issues that they are interested in taking action on.

Engaging Our Conflicts sessions will provide participants with a powerful understanding of the practice of nonviolent peacemaking.

This study program will also cultivate a deeper communal practice in the group, culminating in a peacemaking activity the group will plan and undertake.

This module consists of eight, 2.5 hours sessions with the following topics:

Introduction and Overview of Violence and Nonviolence
The Dynamics of Nonviolent Peacemaking
Interpersonal Nonviolence: Tools for Transforming Conflicts
Nurturing Nonviolent Church Communities: Journeying Together
Grappling with Structural/Institutional/Cultural Violence
Creating a Group Nonviolent Activity/Action
