
Since 2007, Christian Peace Witness for Iraq has brought thousands of people from fourteen Christian denominations to Washington, DC to pray and act for an end to the war in Iraq.
From its beginning, Pace e Bene has been a CPWI organizational partner. It has worked with CPWI to develop action strategies and to lead nonviolence training.

Join Christian Peace Witness for Iraq in Washington, DC
April 29-30, 2009
CPWI is organizing an ecumenical religious service and nonviolent witness for a just and lasting peace in Iraq to be held Wednesday-Thursday, April 29-30 in Washington, DC.
This national gathering of people of faith will mark the 100th day of the new administration. Together we will call on President Obama and the new Congress to definitively end the war, actively support a comprehensive peace process, end the policy and practice of torture, and meet human needs at home.
