Lindsay Martin, a recent college graduate now working with Pace e Bene, will lead a workshop on nonviolence at the 2006 C.O.O.L. Idealist National Conference, to be hosted by Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.

The workshop will be one of over 150 workshops offered for college students interested in activism and social change at the weekend-long conference happening March 3-5. The conference expects over 1500 college students looking to learn more about service, activism, politics, and socially responsible work.

Pace e Bene will present its perspective on activism through its workshop “We Each Have a Piece of the Truth: The Spirituality of Active Nonviolence.” This program will focus on Gandhi’s principles of nonviolence and the ways in which students can bring these principles to their campus communities.
