As part of the Democratic Education program at UC Berkeley, several students are offering a semester-long course in Nonviolent Activism: From Theory to Practice. The class will be grounded in Gandhian nonviolence and look particularly at the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). A constructive project will be decided on by consensus of class members. The class will use Pace e Bene’s curriculum Engage and will be co-taught by Pace e Bene intern, Lindsay Martin.
For more information, see the class description.
You are invited to join the class, offering weekly on Wednesdays from 4-6 pm in Haviland Hall. Community members and non-students are welcome to audit the class at no charge.
