“Children’s Peace- poetry event at Hopkinton Library”

On Monday, April 9th, the library invited children in grades 4 through 6 to join a local poet and educator, LR Berger, Northeast Associate for Pace e Bene, for a lively and fun poetry event for kids: “Constructing Peace Poems: A Group Sculpture of Boxes, Words and Collage.” Participants were encouraged to create three-dimensional poems about peace and peacemaking. This event celebrates Poetry Month and is part of the NH Poet Laureate youth project.
