Franciscan priest Father Louie Vitale, 75 years young and a founder of
Pace e Bene Nonviolence Service, is just back from Iran. He is touring
the country to speak on transforming our world by ending torture,
using nonviolence in the face of terrorism, and becoming an instrument
of peace. Arrested over 200 times while protesting nuclear testing,
torture, and war, he continues to devote his life to these causes.
Even in these troubled times, he speaks with incredible joy and much
needed hope.
