In this workshop participants will analyze why and how social movements for societal transformation succeed. This workshop is especially designed for organizations and members of social movements. Participants will explore ways to build successful movement strategies.

Workshop includes: Presenting and applying the eight stages of successful nonviolent social movements; exploring the usefulness of the different roles participants play in social movements; analyzing the eight stages using a movement important to participants; examining how social movements access power; and exploring how to build a comprehensive nonviolent strategy.
