
I’m really looking forward to speaking at a few gigs in New Zealand next year including Passionfest with Chris Marshall and catching up with our Catholic Worker and other mates. While many of us Peace Tree Crew have been to Aotearoa, this will be my first time.
One of the reasons I’m so excited is because it is the land of one of my heroes, Te Whiti.
Two generations before Gandhi, Te Whiti was organising and leading an amazing mass nonviolent struggle against the genocidal agenda of the colonialists.
